 A Buddhist statue in the Buddha Park in Vientiane, a field of concrete statues in the outskirts of town.  A pong of plaster hands representing Hell outside the White Temple in Chiang Rai, Thailand.  A corner decoration on a Chiang Mai temple roof.  The massive facade of Abu Simbel’s main temple, featuring four huge statues of Ramses II. (One of them is in much worse condition than the other three.)  A piece of public art on the lawn at Smith College. |
